Here are some of the mini Maggies I used. The first one is an oval card cut with my Nesties. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the bling from my stash.
Another mini Maggie. How cute is she? Papers are from my scrapbox and a paperpack that came free with a magazine. Ribbon is from my stash and the sentiment from the Magnolia Spring Club from last year. Her wings were glitterified with Stickles once again.
The last card for today is the first one from the WOJ Club. How beautiful are those princesses from Elizabeth Bell? Paper is from the scrapbox once again, ribbon from the local habby store and so is the butterfly. All images were coloured with my beloved Copics.
My 4 scrapgirls are coming for a playdate tthis morning. They were here last week and as always I loved having them. It is very exhausting to work with 5 girls between the ages of 4 and 14, but very rewarding! Kids are so creative and not afraid to try a new technique at all. This afternoon a friend is coming to look at the samples I made for her son's wedding invitations.
All in all a great day ahead for me.
My thoughts and prayers are with my friends in America that were affected by the earthquake, I hear there is a hurricane heading their way too, so I really pray you all are safe.
Happy WOYWW everybody and don't forget to visit Julia at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ to find out what I am talking about if you still don't know!
You bought the best stuff at CHA! Lovin' your creations and I bet your young crew will as well!

Wow, these are very nice cards. I agree that children are the best. They are uninhibited and don't care about artistic rules. I'm sure you will have lots of fun. Happy WOYWW from #3.

ReplyDeleteOh, love the minis! They look so adorbs all teeny like that. Sounds like a fun day ahead. Know what you mean about the girls. Was that ever us? They do have a way of passing on the energy, at least for a little while and then as soon as they left, I'd simply collapse and sleep it off ;) #9
ReplyDeleteThat princess card is so pretty ...sounds as though you are going to be very busy with the invites
ReplyDeleteLovely post - enjoyed reading it but was puzzled by the mini Maggies until I realised they are small Magnolias :) Your cards are very pretty and the princess paper is fab. Elizabeth x #60
ReplyDeleteMini Maggies? Methinks I need to go for a looksee!
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks really organised :-) these mini Maggies are great. I have some too, but they are not easy to colour, because of their small size. I think you did it very well. Love the cards you've made with them. Bye, Franka
ReplyDeleteOne young girl is going to love the Princess card! Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteoh, Tertia loving your new stash too, and the cards and agree with your prayers for God's keeping on those in US with earthquake and the hurricane... blessings Shaz in Oz.x
ReplyDeleteHello lovely lady, I hope you've recovered from the Easter shock on my desk last week!! Nice to see some new stash and you're making really pretty cards with them. Hope the crafting day was fun with the girls. Damage from the earthquake was very minor and I don't believe anyone was hurt. We felt it here in Michigan, I was sitting at my desk and everything started moving! Just a little, it felt like I was having a dizzy spell!! The hurricane will be different though, people definitely need to heed the warnings and not try to brave it out.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Brenda
