WOYWW 151 = I didn't think it could get worse, but it did!

I really had good intentions to clean up after the embarresment of last week., but .... I got to my room and these gorgeous Mo Manning images were lying there and they could not wait to be used, so what was I supposed to do? Clean!??? I think not! So here it is, in all its shame, my 'even worse than last week' desk.
If you look closely you will spot some new Maggies I bought from Paola when I went on a play date to her fantastic new house. (we never did do any playing, we were talking too much! LOL maybe next time!) There is also my Making Memories circle cutter. Can't remember the last time I used it, but needed to make a big box with a window for one of DD's famous cakes. There are also some new flowers I got from Wild Orchid Crafts and haven't had time to put away (OK I'll admit it - I did have time, I just wanted to look at them a little longer)
Here is the first of the Mo fairies. How gorgeous are they? I accidentaly printed some of them on glossy photo paper. Did not want to throw it away, the paper is so expensive, so I thought I would give it a try. This is the result and now you can see why I love my Copics so very much. It ended up looking absolutely gorgeous. Not as blended as on the other paper I normally use, but beautiful in its own way. Paper is Basic Grey (I think) and the flowers and lace from Wild Orchid Crafts and my stash.I glitterified her wings with some Stickles and then went wild with the Stickles on the flowers too
This is another one of Mo's fairies. Aren't they just beautiful? I did something rather stupid with this one, I coloured her before I found papers to match. With the result that I could not find the right paper anywhere! That is until I walked into Paola's playroom and there it was, the perfect paper, which she gave to me (can you believe it? She is such a generous person. The flatback pearls (in exactly the right shade) are also from Paola and the flowers are from WOC.

While I was shopping for fairies in Mo's store, I came accross this darling image. My grandchildren are besotted with bubbles, so it just reminded me so much of them I could not resist. Paper is from a free paperpad from a magazine and the ribbon is from my stash. I have had those bubble thingies so long, I can't even remember what they are called. LOL See, these things do get used....... eventually!
Have a great day everybody and don't forget to go to Julia at WOYWW to see what everybody else is doing. Sorry about the long post again, I will try to do better, I promise, and thank you so much for all the wonderful comments last week.

WOYWW - I am still here!

I am back people! After being away from WOYWW for 3 weeks, can't believe it has been 3 weeks already, but I am back with a vengeance and creating like a woman posessed. LOL
My desk, as you can see, is telling the tale of my creative frenzy. I am getting very frustrated with my smaller craftroom because I can no longer hide the mess or simply step over it to get to my stash. It now piles up so quickly that I am bound to trip an fall over something very soon. I dare not show you the floor - the push back method to clean the desk has taken a real toll on the poor floor.

Here he is! The Card that holds the record for taking the longest to finish! Cast your mind back to three weeks ago when dear Luca (you can find him at La-La Land crafts http://lalalandcrafts.blogspot.com/p/customer-gallery.html )was paper hopping to find the correct backing papers. That was after it took 3 days to colour him! With it being so crazy at school and me being away on two school camps, it took a whole 2 weeks to finish this card, but I really love the way he turned out in the end. Papers are from my stash (its too long ago, I can't remember by whom) The punch is Martha Stewart and then I used some Flowersoft just to add that little something.

I came back from the two camps and then DH decided to take some time off work (I am afraid it might snow in Boksburg because he took time off work people!) and said we should go to Durban after the Easter weekend to watch DD play in the Waterpolo Currie Cup. I was not arguing when I got to spend my birthday at the sea, so that explains the extra week I was gone.

We had a great time and arrived back home on Saturday. Since then I have been in some sort of creative frenzie. I completed 6 cards and coloured another 6 Mo Manning images. This card is a Sugar Nellie image, part of the Adorables (They are just that - ADORABLE!)

This is another of the Adorable digi's. All the images were coloured with my beloved Copics (O, how I missed them!) Papers for these two cards are from Upikit and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Other than that the cardstock is Bazzil, the ribbon and butterflies from my stash and the flatback pearls I got from Paola a long time ago.

This was a marathon post, sorry. I will make it short next week, I think. Have a great Wednesday everybody and don't forget to visit Julia at http://stamping-ground.blogspot-com/ to visit all the other WOYWWers out there.

The last Easter card.

Good morning everybody. It seems like I am going crafting crazy now that I am on holiday. I have been making cards like a mad woman.
First however, I would like to show you the Easter card I made for one of my granddaughters. I love the La-La land stamps (like you haven't noticed yet) and could not resist this Marci. She was coloured with my beloved Copics (what else?) cardstock is Bazzil, dp is from my scrapbox, punch is Martha Stewart, lace is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and ribbon from my stash. I am entering her in the Easter cjhallenge on the Copic Oz blog ( http://www.copicoz.blogspot.com/2012/03/copic-oz-easter-challenge.html )

The next card was made with a coloured image I found when I moved my craftroom (remember all those images I found and vowed to use?). It is from a stamp I won in blog candy years ago, I think it is a Hannah stamp. Papers are from Upikit. Punch Martha Stewart, lace trim from Really Reasonable Ribbon and zig zag trim from my stash. I must be going through some sort of purple phase, because purple seems to be a recurring colour.

Have a great day everybody, I am off to finish some more cards. I bought some darling Mo Manning digis that are coloured and ready to go, so I can't wait to see how they turn out.
Btw Do you like the new Blogger? I am still making up my mind, but am finding it VERY FRUSTRATING at the moment. Maybe I am just old and electronically challenged LOL

Is this Liam or Luka?

This is my grandson, Liam. He is adorable, but definately on the wild side. For the first year of his life he almost never slept, waking his mommy up 10 times some nights. He is now sleeping, thank goodness, but afraid of nothing. He climbs on everything and tries out every new adventure. He is often full of bumps and bruises and mom says she is afraid people will start to think he is an abused child - not the overindulged little boy he actually is. LOLWhen I saw this little Luca from La-La Land crafts, I just HAD to have him, because he reminds me so very much of Liam. I do not put it past Liam to have a red Mowhawk one day.

I coloured him with my beloved Copics (what else would I use?) The papers are from Fabscraps and a little piece of striped paper from my scrapbox. The ribbon is from Realy Reasonable Ribbon and the cardstock from Bazzil.

Hope you all are having a great Tuesday. I am finally on holiday, so I am crafting up a storm.

I will be entering this card on the La-La land customer gallery http://lalalandcrafts.blogspot.com/p/customer-gallery.html and the bright challenge at Ooh La La http://ooh-la-la-creationschallenges.blogspot.com/
