WOYWW - A rare day off!

I am off school, sick in bed with pneumonia and acute asthma, not fun I tell you! But... 4 days later and I am slowly starting to feel like a human being again. It also means that for once I can be part of WOYWW this week and have time to at least visit a few of you. My desk does not look too bad, considering how much I have done since your last visit.

I have made invitations for my granddaughter's 8th Birthday party. Another Frozen besotted little girl! Let me tell you, colouring those little images was no joke (they are about an inch and a half tall!), but fussy cutting them? Now that was quite a job! What we would not do for the grandies!
This past weekend I felt terrible and was forced to just take the meds and stay indoors. It was also the Kit and Clowder 4000 Facebook member party, so I spent some time challenging myself trying to show how my colouring has improved since I joined Alyce's classes. I must say, this is the biggest image I have ever coloured with my Copics and I am so proud of it, I framed it and its on display on my antique sewing machine.
Another card that was finished this weekend.
I also had the wonderful privilege to attend the SA Scrapbook Convention at the beginning of September and finally got to finish one of the LO's this morning. Using Bo Bunny papers and photo's from DD's recent water polo tour to Russia.
Sorry Julia, this was a bit long, but I am so excited to finally have time to blog, I got a bit carried away!
Have a great week everybody, see you soon.

  16. Hello Tertia. Your framed picture is just something else. Well done on all that amazing colouring! Never tried copics markers - always use watercolour pencils then a very fine paintbrush whenever I do colouring... Those party invites must have taken ages to make!
    Thanks for visiting.
    Take care. God bless.

  17. Hi. Thanks for visiting me yesterday. I'm afraid to say that up til Christmas my WOYWW visiting has to be done on the Thursday because I have taken on an extra day with my twinnies but I promise I will still be visiting :-)
It's so lovely to have you joining in but not if you have to be poorly to do it Tertia. You get better really soon.
    Hugs,Annie x # 30

  18. Your colouring is fantastic! I am impressed and a little jealous in a nice way as I cannot colour as how I try.
So sorry to hear you have been so poorly, that must have been some illness you had. Each of those are bad enough on their own but to have the two together, poor you. Just rest as much as possible and get well fully.
Love your Frozen card, can you tell me where you got the images from please as I would love to make a card using them for my friend's little girl (my surrogate grandee).
    Take care of yourself.
    Hugs, Neet 24 xx

    1. Hi Neet, they are just Googled coloring pages that I resized. :)

Your colouring is very beautifully done - not something I have any experience of. Thanks for your nice comment - Mum is back next Wednesday so we've a few more days yet! We are enjoying our break.

Thanks for visiting me and leaving a kind comment. I certainly enjoyed looking at your desk and what you have done. Your framed picture is beautiful! It's place on the sewing machine is well deserved!
As a scrapbooker of course I gave your two page layout some attention. I love it! Apart from the fact that it is so interesting to have been to Russia, your pages are stunning!
Thank you for letting me look over your shoulder.

  29. Get better soon Tertia ! You do marvelous things for your grandies !

  30. Tertia, I know I am a week late, but all week Google has been preventing me from commenting on some desks, then this morning on the tablet it is working perfectly.
I do hope you are fully recovered now, and getting the time to do more of that amazing colouring. The little girl in the pink dress is fantastic, her hair looks as if you could comb it, so realistic.
