Good morning all. Its so good to be back. I give you my craft desk after 7 days of cleaning my play room! Yip, you heard me correctly... SEVEN DAYS!!!!! I have thrown away at least 10 refuse bags of junk, I have gifted at least half that much to my grandchildren and at last... i can breathe again.
My room is sorted. Everything is in its designated place and I am surrounded by stash, all beautifully organised into pretty rainbows.
Last night I rewarded myself with some colouring pleasure. I started the August Create and Learn class from Kit and Clowder. Love how it turned out. I am even attempting the pencil class image with my Copic markers.I am hoping to visit all my friends from WOYWW this week. Next week might be a little tricky because I am going in for surgery on Tuesday and don't know if I will feel up to it by Wednesday. Hopefully my quality of life will dramatically improve after the op. So waiting for 6 weeks for complete healing to take place, is going to be worth the effort and pain.
Morning Tertia. Firstly, I do trust all goes well next week in hospital Father God is there with you in and through it - wonderful! Your room looks great - well done on all the tidying. I keep doing a bit here and there, but nothing very concerted I'm afraid - but I'm chiselling away at it.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

First off Tertia, lots of luck and good wishes for your surgery. Love the colouring, I intend to have a go at that class too. Isn't it great to have a good clear out of the stuff that no longer works for us? Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #8. xxx
ReplyDeleteLove how clean and neat your work area is. I have had a huge destash...but I still need to reorganise what is left. Maybe this weekend.

Good Grief! 10 Bags! I do like the idea of being surrounded by rainbows of colourful stash though. I think it would take more than a week to clean up my room of stash! #31
ReplyDeleteIt must feel great to have your room all organized. Your coloring is great. Best wishes and prayers for a successful surgery and fast recovery. Have a fantastic and blessed Wednesday! LisaDV #26
ReplyDeleteI didn't know there was a season to destash but there's a lot of it going on at the mo.
ReplyDeletePraying for your recovery and healing next Tuesday.
Have a good week and take care

Not a clue what happened there. Was in mid sentence and whoosh - it disappeared.
ReplyDeleteNice to see you here again, have been thinking of you since your last posting.
Now how are you fixed for a bit of tidying up in MY raft room? I could do with someone who would be a bit more ruthless with my stuff than I am.
Hugs, and take care
