As you can see, the desk has just become progressively worse. Not even the push to the side method is helping any more, so I had to use the couch to find a place to work again.
I mean, the new Copic colours finally arrived, so I had to colour didn't I? I know, I know, its crazy busy at work, but all work and no play... you know what they say.
Made some cards from more of those coloured images I found when moving my craftroom around. This one is for my friend Cindy who is going through chemo and not feeling very well at the moment.
The papers are Bazzil and dp from my stash, lace is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The butterflies were essentualbecause I got an ink smudge on the image when I stamped the sentiment. (hate when that happens)
Another one of those coloured images, dp came free with a magazine. Ribbon and bling from my stash.
My favourite for the week. Another of those coloured images. This one is so old, she is still printed on normal printer paper! Glitterified her wings and the scroll with Stickles. The scroll and trim were cut with the new die cuts I bought at Hobby ex (I think from Nellie Snellen) Papers are from my stash.
Another oldie, papers are from my stash, so is the ribbon and bling. I am not very good at male cards, but my DH likes this one, so I suppose its OK-ish.
Have a great Wednesday everybody and please don't forget to pray for my friend Cindy who is having Chemo. She is not feeling well at all at the moment. Also please remember one of my girls, Nikita (16) who's father suddenly passed away from a heart attack on Saturday in your prayers.
I promise to be a better visitor in April when 'silly season' is over.
Remember to visit Julia at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com for some fantastic inspiration.

Can't believe everything you've got don by 5:30am, I'm still in the land of nod for another 1/2 hour at that time, and then I spend another 1/2 hour hitting snooze! Beautiful basket of Copics and great cards. Poor Nikita, such a shock for her at such a young age.

Love your cards and if you had not said why those butterflies where there, I would never have guessed. Know that oopsie mess that happens and then you are left finding a fix it and in your case it looks like it was always part of your plan.
ReplyDeleteI think I started drooling a little when I saw your Copics...5:30 am? I am barely coherent enough at that time of the morning to register that it's morning - let alone accomplish anything as difficult as making tea! Prayers and positive thoughts going out for Cindy and Nikita.

ReplyDeleteI now have just become your new bestest friend (follower). I have yet to purchase my first copic, but I may have to purchase a new monitor first, as I have licked the color off your post! In fact, you might have to replace all of the colors as they are now blanks. lol
ReplyDeleteJoin my give away if you have a moment.
This is precious! I love the softness of the card. The bouquet is perfectly colored as is Tilda. It is just it,
